Our average group size is 6-8 people, deliberately small to minimize the impact on often fragile mountain environments. Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival:
On arrival welcoming and greet by representative at Airport and transfer to the hotel. Briefing on program. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu:
After breakfast, visit Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath and Swayambhunath. Sightseeing continue with Patan durbar square, Kathmandu durbar square, listed in the UNESCO world heritage monument list in 1979. After Kathmandu durbar square walk to Thamel bazaar, the tourist hub of Kathmandu and back to hotel. Free for own activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu - Nagarkot/ Dhulikhel:
After breakfast, drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square to witness the most beautiful and richly carved specimens of its kind in the entire world, listed in the UNESCO world heritage monument list in 1979. After to Bhaktapur durbar square, proceed to Changunarayan, where, said to be the oldest temple in the valley and also listed in the UNESCO world heritage monument list in the same year. Later drive to Nagarkot or Dhulikhel, the popular tourist resort of Nepal, from where, the panorama of the major peaks of the eastern Nepal Himalaya including Mt. Everest can be seen. These are also famous for sunrise & sunset viewing. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04: Nagarkot/ Dhulikhel - Pokhara:
After breakfast, drive to Pokhara, the most popular destination in Nepal after Kathmandu. It is about 200km from Kathmandu. Pokhara offers magnificent views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Machhapuchhre; five picks of Mt. Annapurna and of course Fewa Lake. This city is nestled in the tranquil valley and is the starting point for many of Nepal’s most popular trekking and rafting destinations. The valley surrounding Pokhara is home to thick forests, gushing rivers, clear lakes and the world famous views of the Himalayas. (Optional: experience the white water rafting in Trishuli River for 02 - 03 hrs on the way). On arrival at Pokhara check in to hotel. Evening free, stroll around the lakeside and enjoy the evening. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05: Pokhara:
After breakfast, one hour boat ride at Fewa Lake and proceed to sightseeing tour of Pokhara, covering Bindhyabasini temple, Seti river gorge, Davis falls, Gupteswore Mahadev cave. Afternoon free, stroll around the lake site. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Pokhara - Lumbini:
After breakfast drive to Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha. On arrival, check in to hotel. Lumbini is the pilgrimage destination of the world's millions of people faithful to all schools of Buddhism. Visit Sacred Garden, Maya Devi Temple, the Ashokan Pillar, the sacred pond-Puskarni where just before given birth to Buddha, Maya Devi took the bath. It is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Inside the park, there are other stupas and monuments built by Shri Lanka, Japan, Myanmar, Korea, India, Germany and many other nations making it as a mini world peace center. Free day for stroll around the Lumbini Garden. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07: Lumbini - Chitwan:
After break fast, drive to Chitwan. On arrival, briefing on program & check in to hotel/resort. After lunch, elephant safari or jungle walk or visit elephant breeding center. Evening native cultural programmed with dinner. Dinner at camp or lodge. (Full board basis). Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Chitwan:
Wake up call at early morning followed by tea/coffee. Proceed to bird watching tour. After breakfast, canoeing trip with crocodile game in the Rapti River. After lunch, elephant back safari to explore jungle. Evening free. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Chitwan - Kathmandu:
Wake up call at 05.30 followed by tea/coffee at 06.00, bird watching/elephant safari/jungle walk. After breakfast at camp/lodge, proceed to Kathmandu and check into hotel. Free for own activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Departure:
Breakfast and free till transfer to airport for final destination.
