Hop on an elephant's back and ride through the jungles in Chitwan. Look out for the one-horned rhino and, hopefully, the elusive Bengal Tiger. Take a boat-ride on the Phewa lake and an optional hike in Pokhara. Each year, Pokhara serves as the starting point of many treks and expeditions in the Annapurna region. Day 01 : ARRIVAL INTO KATHMANDU (D)  (No Lunch after 3 PM and No Dinner after 10 PM)

 Nepal is a country of amazing extremes, home to the world's highest mountains historic cities and forested plains where tigers and rhinos trundle at ease. In fact enchantment is everywhere for anyone in search of Shangri-La.

Upon arrival met by Nepal representatives and transferred to your hotel.

Later proceed for the sightseeing of Kathmandu city: (If time permits otherwise shall commence on last day)

Discover Patan Durbar Square: - It is an enchanting mélange of place buildings, artistic courtyard and graceful pagoda temples. This square was the formal Royale Palace Complex which was the center of the Patan religious and social life, and a house a museum containing an array of bronze status and religious monuments. One remarkable monument here is 17th Century temple dedicated to the Hindu God Krishna, built entirely of stone.

Thereafter proceed to Swayambhunath stupa also known as the 'Monkey Temple', the world's most glorious Buddhist Stupa of over 2,000 years standing on a hillock at a majestic height of 77m. This site also commands an excellent view of    Kathmandu valley.

Back to hotel. After dinner overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Travel to Pokhara (APPROMX0KM 5.5HRS)(B,L,D)

Pokhara -  Pokhara valley is one of the most picturesque spot of Nepal. The beauty of Pokhara is enhanced by its lovely Lakes, which have their source in the glacial region of Annapurna range of Himalayas. Pokhara is the only place in the world to provide such a dramatic views in a sub tropical seating. Machhapuchhre, for example, is only 28 km far form Phewa lake and not a single mountain range intervenes between the two.  

Phewa Lake- The largest lake in the kingdom is the center of all attraction in Pokhara. It is the largest and most enchanting of the three lakes that add to the resplendence of Pokhara. Here, one call sail or row a hired boat across the water or visit the island temple in its middle. The eastern shore, popularly known as Lakeside or Baidam, is the favorite home base for travelers and is where the most of hotels, restaurants and handicrafts shops are located.

After Breakfast proceed to Pokhara. On the way enjoy the Buffet lunch. After lunch continue to Pokhara and on arrival welcome drink and check in at Hotel. Free day.  Roam around the beautiful Lake Side Market. Dinner, overnight at hotel.

Day 03: TOUR AND EXPLORE POKHARA (B, L, D)

Early morning wake up call and transfer to catch the magnificent sunrise view at Sarangkot vantage point, at an altitude of 1600 m, overlooking the western Himalayan ranges. An opportunity to bask in the first rays of sun bursting through the awe-inspiring Himalayan Mountains. Afterward back to hotel.

After breakfast enjoy a thrilling experience of Boat ride at Fewa Lake set against a fish-tail summit rising over 6,900m, about an hour. Afterward proceed on a sightseeing tour to Pokhara, covering Bindhyabasini temple, Seti River GorgeGupteshowre Cave. Also visit the David's Fall where you can see a waterfall appearing from nowhere into many pools and finally disappearing after flowing through small cascades into cracks in the ground. Back to the hotel for lunch. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the serenity of the mountains, Lake. Dinner and overnight at Hotel

Day 04: TRAVEL TO CHITWAN FOR JUNGLE SAFARI (APPROX 5HRS) (B, L, D)

Chitwan National Park has long been one the country treasures of national wonders. There are more than 43 species of mammals in the park. The park is especially renowned for the endangered one-horned Rhino, the Royale Bengal Tiger and the Gharial Crocodile along with many other common species. There are over 450 species of birds in the park. It offers you a wide range of jungle activities such as Elephant back safari, Dugout canoe excursion, nature walk and ethnic cultural tours.

After early breakfast drive to Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival, briefing and check in at Resort. After Lunch you will be taken on a Tharu Village tour where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of Tharus you will also visit the National Park's Visitors center where you can learn more about the history of the National Park and Wildlife. Thereafter enjoy amazing Sunset view from the bank of Rapti River.

In the evening enjoy a special Tharu Cultural Dance presentation (Which you will also participate in) by the local Villagers. Dinner and overnight at Hotel

DAY 05: FULL DAY SAFARI IN CHITWAN (B,L,D)

Full day Safari in Chitwan (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner). After breakfast proceed to enjoy Canoe Ride on Rapti River. Get thrilled with sighting Live Gharial, Crocodiles, Fish and other species. Afterward you may visit Elephant Breeding Centre. Back to hotel.

After lunch go for an Elephant back Safari. An excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of Deer, One Horn Rhinoceros, Wild boar, Monkey, Leopard, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger (If you are lucky). You will also encounter many other small animals that have made Chitwan their home. 

Back to hotel. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel. 

DAY 06: TRAVEL BACK TO KATHMANDU AND TO NAGARKOT (B,L,D)

After Breakfast proceed to Nagarkot via Kathmandu. On the way enjoy lunch.

Nagarkot is located at an altitude of 2,175m. and known as the Himalayan Village on Top of the World.  This place used to be the nature retreat of the Royals with its unobstructed mountains panorama, which extends from Annapurna in the west to Everest in the east. Banked in the pleasant climate. 

On arrival at Nagarkot check in to hotel. Free. Enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the Himalaya. Evening, enjoy the amazing sunset views.  Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 07: TRAVEL TO KATHMANDU (APPROX 1.5HRS) (B,L,D)

Early morning wake up call for witnessing the exotic Sunrise view over the Eastern Himalayas.

After breakfast check out and drive back to Kathmandu. On the way visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

Bhaktapur City that still retains a medieval charm and visitors are entreated to myriad wonders of cultural and artistic prides. It is like going to back to the 17th century. The Movie 'Little Buddha' was filmed in this city.  Visit Golden Gate, 55 Windows Palace, Nyatapola temple and many more. It is also UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE

Afterward visit Pashupatinath, the majestic temple with golden roof.  It is considered as being amongst the most important Hindu pilgrims center. Located on the bank of the Baghmati River one can even witness cremations taking place here.

Later visit Bouddhanath. This colossal stupa is one of the biggest in the world and also serves as the centre of Tibetan Buddhism.

Transfer to hotel. Check in and refreshed.

After lunch proceed on sightseeing of Kathmandu City. Discover Kathmandu Durbar Squares, which is presently known as Hanuman Dhoka, a name derived from the statue of Hanuman, the money devotee of lord Ram. Many of the places and temples in Durbar Squares were built the reign of the Malla Kings and are beautiful examples of Newari Architectures, Nepal's most distinctive architectural style. Visitors to the Durbar Square of Kathmandu will be amazed by the architectural wonders spanning several centuries. This important historical attraction has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are moiré than a dozens of buildings and statues of note in this small area. They include  Kasthamandap the wooden building that is said to have given the state of Kathmandu its name, Taleju Temple is one of the oldest temple in the Square , this three-roofed temple with its pyramid shaped bases, is an example of typical Newari architectural style.

Visit The Living Goddess of Nepal A living breathing Goddess called Kumari Devi. It is the custom of worshipping a Pre-pubescent girl the source of supreme power is an old Hindu-Buddhist tradition that still continues to this day in Nepal.

Continue walking to Thamel market for bazaar shopping.

Back to hotel. Later that evening, transfer to Cultural Center to enjoy a superb cultural show with a typical Nepalese dinner.  Back to hotel and overnight.

DAY 08: FREE DAY TO EXPLORE KATHMANDU AND DEPARTURE (B)

After breakfast free for personal activities till transfer to airport for final departure. (Commence sightseeing tours which is not availed on 1st day program)
